

Raymond “Little Mac” McDonald, 68, of Freeport TX passed away on August 12 2015 in Webster TX with his family by his side. Little Mac was born to parents Robert Levi McDonald and Bobby Bond in Brazoria TX on April 10 1947. Little Mac married the love of his life, Rosa Moreno, on his birthday in 1970.
Little Mac was a hard worker throughout his whole life. In his long career as a Master Electrician, he spent many hours working either on either on home construction or at the plant. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local #527.
When he was away from work, Little Mac spent his free time either with his family and friends or in the pursuit of his one true hobby – fishing. Little Mac loved to fish, to spend time on his boat on the water, to enjoy the simple joy of nature with a line in the water.
Little Mac is preceded in death by his mother, Bobby Bond; and an uncle, Lloyd McDonald.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa McDonald; father, Robert Levi McDonald; brothers, Robert B. (Stella) McDonald and Larry (Rosa) McDonald; sister, Dixie (Charlie) Bruening; daughters, Michelle M. Medina and Jessica (Selvereo) Medina; grandson, Joel A. Medina Sr; granddaughter, Vanessa B. Medina; and 3 great grandchildren, as well as many friends, extended family, and other loved ones.
A memorial service, celebrating the memory and life of Raymond “Little Mac” McDonald will be held on Monday August 17 2015 at Restwood Funeral Home beginning at 6 pm.
