Rick “Popo” was an honorable man who left a lasting impact on all those he encountered. He loved his family dearly and would do anything for them. He was a loving husband, caring dad, wise grandpa and a respected man. Rick had the habit of overcoming anything thrown at him. He was a hardworking man who was humbly proud of his accomplishments. He was a kind and gentle being who could make you feel good about yourself. He truly saw the good in everyone and cared greatly for all people.
Rick enjoyed spending his time cooking his delicious fajitas and BBQ. You could catch him cheering on his favorite teams: Houston Astros and Houston Texans. Along with his wife, Popo would spend quality time with his daughters, grandchildren and great children as his family was his core. He served as a father figure to many by stepping up in other’s lives. He loved being a service to others and helping anyone he could. Popo did not miss an opportunity to spark a conversation with whoever he met.
