Erma, we are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. We are holding you close to our heart and covering you in prayer. Your love story was so beautiful to witness. We love you.

I met Richard through my work buddy and best friend, Erma. I admired Richard for his unwavering faith in the Lord, despite all the pain he was feeling. His courage, through all he was going through, left me speechless at times. I know he is resting now in the arms of Our Heavenly Father.  Rest easy, Richard. Thank you for making my best friend truly happy!! You two were so blessed to have each other and one day you will be reunited again. I love you both!!

God blessed my life and that of my family with Erma, and many years later, with Richard. I am so grateful for their love and Christian friendship. 

We don't always understand why things work out the way they do, but if we TRULY trust the Lord, we don't have to understand. 

I know that Richard trusts in Christ, his Savior. He trusted Him in this life, & throughout his cancer journey, and in his transition to Eternal life, found only in Jesus Christ. Now Erma carries all of those precious memories with her every day. And Jesus carries Erma! His yoke is easy and His burden is light.  Continue to lean on our Lord Jesus and on those He places in your path, Erma.

I am praying for all of those who love and will deeply miss Richard. I am especially praying for Erma. ❤️

Our deepest condolences, Richard was a big part of our family, a man we loved.  He is no longer in pain but with our God in heaven. RIP brother Richard.

Richard was one of the nicest and kindest men I have ever met. He always had a quick & easy smile for his friends and his church family.

The love Richard & Erma had for one another was so sweet and genuine and it showed on a daily basis.  Richard was totally devoted to Erma and she to him, so this loss is very painful. 

We will miss Richard's smiles, handshakes and hugs, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now with Jesus and resting in eternal peace. To God be the glory.
