Roberto Santiago Blanco. Sr, 82, of Angleton TX., Went to be with the Lord on September, 15th of 2022. Robert was born to Antontia De la Rosa & Roberto Blanco on April 8th of 1940 in Brownsville, TX. Robert married Elvia Arreola in Brownsville, TX on June 14th of 1968.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. Robert worked for 27 years as a Correctional Officer for Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Robert was a devout Christian, Husband, and father who enjoyed Studying the Bible and Watching the Dallas Cowboys. He was admired by many for his knowledge of the Word of God.
Robert is survived by Wife: Elvia and; Children: Roberto Jr (Jennifer) Blanco, Benjamin (Samantha) Blanco, and Samuel (Kimberly) Blanco and; Grandchildren: Stockten Blanco, Sullivan Blanco, Saylor Blanco, Keanu Zavala, Elijah Blanco, Isaiah Blanco, Zavier Blanco, Caden Riddle.
Serving as pallbearers are Nephew, Dan Morales; Nephew, Daniel Blanco; Grandchildren: Elijah, Isaiah, Zavier; and Grandnephew, Aric Hernandez.
A Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral home on Wednesday, Sept 21, 2022, with Private Family Viewing from 4:00pm – 4:30pm; Public Viewing from 4:30pm – 5:30pm; and Memorial Service from 5:30pm – 7:00pm.
The Funeral Service will be held at Restwood Funeral home on Thursday, Sept 22, 2022 starting at 11:00am.
Roberto will be laid to rest in Restwood Memorial Park, 1038 W. Plantation Dr, Clute, Texas 77531, following the funeral service.
