He was born in Lake Providence, LA. He resided in Sulphur, LA, for the past 55 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Marie Barbara Shay. We are happy that they are now dancing in Heaven together again!
Survivors include his three daughters: Rhonda Shay (John Courtney), Robyn Settoon (Steven), and Ricki Shay. His grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Chase Guidry, Logan Settoon (Jeff), Matthew Settoon, Sami LeJune, Robi Elveston (Cade), Graham Shay, and Taylor Shay.
A private burial will take place at Indian Bayou Cemetery in Rayne. A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be hosted on Saturday, June 29, 2024, 2pm-5pm, in Key Hall at Henning Methodist Church in Sulphur, LA. All are welcome.
