Page was born September 19, 1947 in Del Rio, Texas. When Page was nine years old he trusted in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in the First Baptist Church in Del Rio. Page attended MacArthur High School in San Antonio, Texas where he meet Barbara his beautiful bride of 49 years. After graduating high school, Page went into the Air Force where he remained for 2 years then transferred to the Texas Air National Guard where he rose to the rank of Staff Sargent during his total 8 year career. He enrolled into college at Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1971. Page joined The Dow Chemical Company as an engineer in the Process Research Department. Page continued to pursue his Master’s Degree at Texas A&M, remaining on the Dean’s list every semester, and received his Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1976. Page had a 33 year career with Dow, where he rose to the rank of Research Fellow and was the scientist on the Research Global Staff. One of Page’s greatest honors was receiving the H. H. Dow Medal in 2000. He retired in 2003 to his ranch where he spent the next 14 years as a consultant. After quitting his consulting practice in 2016, he began ranching full time. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, ranching and most of all spending time with his family. Page is preceded in death by his mother and a great granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his father Robert, two brothers, Joe and Wayne (wife Maria), one sister, Linda, three children, Clint, Becky and Barbie (husband Paul), and five grandchildren. Page will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through his family who loves him immensely.
