A proud 2003 graduate of Angleton High School, Ryan left us far too soon, but not without leaving behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, loyalty and love. He was deeply devoted to his late mother, Sharon, and his grandmother Memaw, whose loss he carried in his heart every day. He also adored his Aunt Linda, who was always there with love and support when he needed it most.
Ryan found joy and companionship with his girlfriend Jessica Patterson, and shared lasting bonds with many friends who knew him as a fiercely loyal and kind soul. If you were lucky enough to call him a friend, you knew his unwavering honesty, quick wit, and “tell-it-like-it is” comedy that could make any room lighter.
He had a love for life’s simple pleasures - good music, a plate of good food, cheering for the University of Texas Longhorns (a favorite topic during long phone conversations with his dad), watching UFC fights or enjoying classic movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Ryan was drawn to authentic people and authentic moments, never one to pretend or put on airs.
Ryan worked in a variety of roles over the years, but what defined him most wasn’t his resume – it was his heart. He was genuine, generous and deeply loyal.
Ryan was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Bevers; his grandparents Newell and Louise McJohnston; Gerald Bevers and Yvonne Bevers.
Ryan is survived by his father and stepmother, Jerry and Jolene Bevers of Spring; grandmother June Bevers of Sugar Land: his brother Steven Bevers (Tabitha) of Angleton; his sister Courtney Bevers of Lake Jackson; his stepsister Stephanie Neal (Bradley) of West Columbia; and his stepbrother Dustin Kelch (Lauren) of Spring. He is also survived by his aunts: Linda Beaver (Dan), Diane Sealy, and Terri Alexander (Randy); his cousins Daniah Sealy, Lori Richards, David Beaver, Christy Hayden, Kevin Alexander; and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Though his circle of family and friends now feel the sharpness of loss, they carry forward the humor, loyalty and kindness he shared so freely. Ryan is now reunited with his mother and grandparents, finding peace in their embrace once again.
A Celebration of Ryan’s Life with take place at Restwood Funeral Home, 1038 W Plantation Dr in Clute, Texas on Saturday, September 20th at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Restwood Memorial Park.
