Sergio Noe Cantu, 51, of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away on December 9, 2018. Noe was born to Ines and Otila Cantu on May 20, 1967 in Freeport, Texas. Noe was married to his wife, Herlinda or eighteen years and was the proud parent of his daughter Elizabeth. His pride and joy. And his reason for fighting.
Noe lived in Lake Jackson his whole life and worked in the Food and Retail industry for many years. Noe was very sociable and loved to talk to people. To him, everyone was his friend and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to help them. Because he was such a caring person. Noe will be missed by many that knew him. Noe was also a big fan of the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys.
Noe is preceded in death by his brother, Juan “John” Cantu; and parents, Ines and Otila Cantu.
He is survived by his wife, Herlinda; daughter, Elizabeth; his two brothers, Gustavo (Nora) Cantu; Arturo (Laurie); and sister-in-law, Phyllis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, Megan, Justin, James, Estevan, Veronica, Grayson, Gabe, Glory, Lilly, and Grace. Whom he all loved very much, even his “nieces-in-laws,” like he used to say.
A Gathering to Share Memories of Sergio will be held at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, Texas on Wednesday, December, 12, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Sergio’s Life will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Thursday, December, 13, 2018 at 10 a.m.; and the Graveside Service being held at Restwood Memorial Park immediately following.
Serving as pallbearers are nephews, Justin Cantu, James Cantu, Estevan Cantu, and Gabe Cantu.
“Fly High, our sweet angel!”
