Sharon Denise Bevers

Sharon Denise McJohnston Bevers 59, passed away on November 26, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on October 2, 1962 in San Fernando, California to Zola Newell and Lydia Louise McJohnston. She spent most of her school years in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Sharon was a Christian and accepted CHRIST as a young girl. She often faithfully prayed for our family members daily.

Sharon was a very devoted and young loving mother to her son Ryan Gerald Bevers. She also enjoyed spending time with her parents and the rest of the family. Her teasing and laughter were a part of every family gathering.

Sharon was a very hard worker and spent the last 24 years as a unit secretary then later as a scheduler for CHI St. Lukes Hospital in Lake Jackson. She was known for doing a great job and getting things done.

Sharon is survived by her parents, Zola Newell and Lydia Louise McJohnston; son, Ryan Gerald Bevers; sister, Linda McJohnston (Dan) Beaver, Diane McJohnston Sealy; nephew, David Beaver; nieces, Daniah (Dus Ko Todic) Rutherford, Lori Beavers (Jeremy) Richards; Great nieces, Kayla Rutherford, Alyssa Rutherford, and Great nephew, Noah Richards.

Sharon was preceded in death by her brother John Wendell McJohnston on January 19, 2021.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at First Baptist Church in Clute, Texas, Please join in on the celebration of her life that will be held at First Baptist Church in Clute, Texas, at 2:00pm followed by the graveside service at Restwood Memorial Park.
