Shirley Ann Peterson, 75, of Clute, TX passed away on March 14th 2015 in Lake Jackson, TX. Shirley was born on June 15th 1939 to Charles & Pearl Vincent in Waukesha, WI. Shirley married Gerald D. Peterson in Waukesha, WI on July 31st 1957.
Shirley was a beloved social worker in many communities throughout her life. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston School Of Social Work. She loved her family and celebrated her faith by singing in the church choir.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Lisa S. Peterson; son Robert W. Peterson (wife Ada); son Mark V. Peterson (wife Ann); brothers Marlin J. Vincent & Kenneth Vincent; grandchildren David Peterson (wife Gisela), Roman Peterson, Zachary Garcia, Amie Peterson, Bethany Peterson, Melanie Peterson, and Amanda Garcia; and great-granddaughters Isabelle Peterson & Claire Peterson.
A memorial service conducted by Rev. Dr. Alan Trafford will be held for Shirley at Restwood Funeral Home on Friday March 20th 2015 at 10am.
