Sidney Frances Early, age 28, died Sept 9th. 2014. He will be greatly missed by his family, and survived by his son Zachary Evan Phillips. He was the cherished son of Sidney Lenard Early and Rita J Early and the first beloved grandchild of Mary Early Murray, Sid was the eldest of 3 (Sister Amanda J Early and Brother Steven W. Early).
“One of the best things about Sid was he always remembered to hug everyone and tell them he loved them before leaving” Aunt Mary Sibyl Early
“Sid was such an amazing brother, when we were little he was overjoyed at having a baby sister to play with we spent many days playing his favorite game of pretend he invented just for us “Deep Under Castle” he was always the hero and I was his side-kick. He loved to talk about those days when we were so innocent. His childhood spent with myself and Steven was the happiest part of his life, and though I will miss you like crazy no matter what Sid you will always be the hero to me I will cherish every memory and I will promise to live every day to its fullest for you” Amanda J. Early
“My beloved son I will miss you every breath I take, until I can hold you in my arms again in heaven. Rest easy baby boy.” Rita J Early
"The Into Action Recovery Center in Houston, TX has decided to establish an ongoing full scholarship for treatment in Sidney's honor. This will be a 30 day scholarship and they will always have one of their beds dedicated to it. Sid touched countless lives in the recovery community, and over the years was loved by many. He was never able to overcome his own struggle for more than brief periods, but this scholarship will undoubtedly change and save lives in the coming years." Daniel Fishburn of the IARC Houston, TX.
Sidney touched many lives although his path wasn't the easiest at times he still had the most amazing smile, and an innocence just below the surface that would really shine the most with family and friends just enjoying simple good times. Sid had many talents and skills, and was happiest when he worked his hardest. Though his time was too short he will live on in the hearts, memories, and actions of his family. Sidney will be remembered by his Aunt Christy Early, Nana Maurine Sisk, his Uncle and aunt Bill and Teena Early, and more friends than you can count. Sidney, your soul is free now from the fences of the world. Run free and shine like you were always meant to. We all love you so much.
The viewing will be held Tuesday, September 16th, 6-8 pm and the funeral will be held 3pm, Wednesday the17th of September at the Restwood Funeral Home Clute Tx. All who knew and loved Sidney are welcome to attend.
