Socorro Reyna

Socorro graduated high school and in her teenage years to early adulthood she worked for her Uncle & Aunt grocery store. Later on she met and married Jose O. Reyna in Misson, Tx, on January 25,1959 and out of that union came three beautiful children: Jose Reyna Jr. , Flora Castillo, Jose Luis Reyna

Thereafter the family moved from Mission , Tx to Utah & California , and relocated to settle in Freeport, Tx where she was an Apartment Manager and he worked at Freeport Metal Industries. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family whom she loved very much, loved listening to music and and politics. Which the TV was always on CNN for her to be up to date with current events.

Preceded in death are her parents, Dionisio & Sara Vela; husband, Jose Reyna Sr.; sisters, Olivia, Lucy, & Jesusa; and Brothers, Ramon, Alberto, & Guadalupe .

Socorro is survived by her 3 children, Jose Reyna Jr. (Brenda) , Flora Castillo, and Jose Luis Reyna; siblings, Ninfa Ramirez and Zulema Salinas; Grandchildren, Criselda Castillo, Priscilla Reyna -Neira (Mario), Jeremy Castillo (Jocelyn), & Theresa Reyna; and Great grandchildren, Jayla Castillo & Marcelina Neira.

Serving as Pallbearers are, Jose Reyna Jr., Jose Carlos Rangel, Jose Cruz Rangel, Domingo Escobedo, Mario Neira, and Chris Velasquez

The Rosary & Visitation will be held on Thursday November 30, 2023 from 5 pm -7 pm, at Restwood Funeral Home. The Funeral will be held on Friday December 1st, 2023 At 10:00 at Restwood Funeral Home, Followed by Burial at Restwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1038 West Plantation Drive, Clute,Tx 77531.
