Tommy Wiggins, of Livingston, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at Pineridge Nursing Home after a long struggle with Huntington’s disease. A graveside funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Restwood Memorial Park.
Tom was born January 27, 1957 in Freeport, TX to Thomas N. Wiggins, Sr. and the late Shirley May Rivers.
As an avid sportsman, Tommy achieved presidential awards during his elementary schooling years. He is the only state champion quarter back for Brazoswood since 1974. He ran the Houston MS 150 in two occasions, and loved jet skiing rides with his brother Randy.
He graduated from Sam Houston University in Huntsville, TX with a degree on Computer Science and one on Business Management. Afterwards, he worked with Shell’s computer department for 20 years.
Survivors include his father Thomas N. Wiggins; brother Randy Wiggins; niece and nephew Toby and Marissa Robinson.
