Aunt Nonie will be missed and one less Angel on Earth. She will always be Aunt Nonie to me and made me feel like I was one of the boys. When Matt and I would get in Hot water she scolded both of us...just like Brothers. Swiftly, I might add but we had it come'n. She always greeted me with that Beautiful smile and a big hug! The Cones have always been a fixture in my life and a big part of me.
I Love her and I will miss her. She is with Uncle Clyde now...Praise the Lord!

From the first time I met "Nonie", she was an inspiration. Elegant, beautiful, funny and so accepting. "Nonie" was the glue that held the family together, and I have always marveled in her ability to get thru tough times and laugh when I know she wanted to cry. An amazing woman that I feel honored to have known and to have her love me. I will miss you, "Nonie". My heart is heavy and I pray for healing for Chris, Steve, John and Matt, along with many other family members who are struggling with the loss. I love you all.

Lake Jackson will always be home to me but it will never be the same without visiting all of "our" parents close family friends. From the early days of Lake Jackson and being part of our parents new life after WWII, we ALL grew up together in a great era . We were all born in the late 40's and early 50's.We are lived close by and we all did almost everything together. We were all so lucky to have the parents we had. So many stories could be shared by all. We all have many fond memories of the truly early days in Lake Jackson where all of our parents . As children became adults , we ALL considered ourselves as part of one big family. Our prayers and thoughts are with each of you today but one thing I know for sure, Blanche and Nonie and M.D. and Clyde are already working on some big get together. And It will be bigger than BIG. With all our love , the MD Galloway family, Candy and John, G.G. and Cindy, and Gay Lynn and Paul, and all of our children. Our prayers and thoughts are with each of you.
