Ginnie was born in June 1942 in her grandparents’ home in Mills, Pennsylvania to Dale and Marjorie Stebbins. She was the 3rd of seven children. She grew up on a dairy farm in New York State. After graduating from high school, she attended nursing school at Rochester General Hospital. She worked as an RN in Rochester and Wellsville while in New York. She moved to Texas and worked in Dallas, Galveston, Houston and the Brazosport area. She raised three children, Jennifer, Joey and Dale John who survive her. She had ten grandchildren. At her request she was cremated and there will be no memorial. Donations can be made to SPCA of LJ, Habitat for Humanity of LJ or plant a tree in her memory.
