William “Bill” Biggs Jr., 64, of the Brazosport area, passed away on August 14, 2026, after a short battle with cancer followed by a stroke that left him bedridden and in a nursing home for the past year.
Born on October 13, 1961, to Barbara and William “Bill” Biggs Sr., Bill Jr. was a one-of-a-kind soul—artistic, musically inclined, and gifted with exceptional mathematical abilities. He lived with Asperger’s, a part of what made his mind extraordinary, and he channeled that uniqueness into creativity that touched everyone around him. For decades he worked in the family’s three-generation sign business, Art’s Signs, as a graphic designer. A company that has served the Brazosport area for the past 75 years. He was very good at what he did with his quiet dedication and skills , he always provided a great service to his customers in the community.
Outside of work, Bill found joy in Renaissance festivals, eating out, brain puzzles including rubik’s cubes, magic tricks, the focused challenge of disc golf, karaoke, board games, video games, and crafting remarkable handmade items—especially walking canes, origami (folding dollar bills mainly), and whatever else sparked his vivid imagination.
An avid reader of science fiction, he was also in the midst of writing a fictional book, filling pages with the same inventive spirit that defined him.
Bill never married and had no children of his own, but he was loved by his family for his unique qualities. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and William “Bill” Biggs Sr. He is survived by his sister, Lisa Kramer, and her husband, Tripp, along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a great nephew who will remember his kindness, creativity, and the quiet goodness that shone through his unique way of seeing the world.
A graveside service will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20th at 10 am. A celebration of life will be held sometime in the near future.
