Tammy K. Neal went home to be with our Lord Friday, November 3, 2017 in Coalinga, CA after a lengthy battle with cancer. As a child she attended Avenal grammar school, high school years were in Long Beach, CA. Later in life, she furthered her education at West Hills Community College in Coaling, CA. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Wayne VanSickle and Dorothy VanSickle and her sister Yvonne VanNest. Tammy will be remembered by Allan Neal, her loving husband, who was the love of her life and who was always there for her; daughter Kerry Wood of Hanford, CA; son Kevin Wood of Hoxie, Ark; grandchildren Candice Cooper of Coalinga, Wesley Cooper of Hanford, Cameron Brown of Hanford, Tammy Wood of Houston, MS, Peyton Wood of Hoxie, AR and Brodie Wood of Hoxie, AR; great grandchildren Evangeline Bryant of Coalinga and Jaxson Wood of Houston, MS; sister Deborah Jones and her spouse Rick Jones of Coalinga; mother-in-law Jenny Neal from Oregon, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. To many, her passing was too soon, but to those around her, she taught us that quality of existence far exceeded quantity of time in which one lives. Through it all, “softening a new dawning of peace, a quiet knowing that all would be well.” Without anything changing, though everything already had. Many times she said, “It will be what is going to be.” She will be missed by all, from walks on the beach and watching the sunsets by her loving husband Allan, to plating flowers in the spring with her sister Deborah. Disneyland will never be the same, but yet holding a fond memory by her daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter from time they spent at Disneyland. And last but not least her “Loves,” Muff and Annabelle, who will miss her lap and strokes of love. A Memorial Service and Viewing was held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Palm Memorial Coalinga Chapel; 486 N 5th St, Coalinga, CA. Family and Friends are invited to view Tammy’s legacy at www.coalingachapel.com and write condolences. Services by Palm Memorial Coalinga Chapel 935-3338
