Adam Ludwig Hauck departed this earth to be with his Lord November 16, 2020. He was born September 6, 1931, in Neustadt, Germany. Son of Jakob and Katallina Hauck. As a young boy and teen worked in the family vineyards. He also learned how to bake in a nearby French bakery. Ludwig longed to go to America and, in 1953, decided to visit and stay In Fort Wayne, IN with his Aunt Marie who had immigrated to this country years before. He attended Concordia High School there and later met Eva Wiludda at a German Dance Club. They were married March 26, 1955.
Ludwig was drafted into the US Navy in December 1955 and, after that commitment, joined the US Air Force in March 1959. He worked as a meteorologist and was stationed at several bases throughout the world - Wichita, KS, Tucson, AZ, and Heidelberg, Germany. He also had a tour of duty in Vietnam. He retired from the air Force after 23 years in 1978 at Patrick Air Force Base as a Chief Master Sargent. He graduated Rollins College. He was a licensed Real Estate Broker. Ludwig volunteered with the Disabled American Veterans for eight years helping veterans with their VA claims. He lived in Merritt Island until his death.
He was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Ludwig was preceded in death by his son, Michael. He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, son Fredrick and daughter Susan Seminazzi (John), grandchildren Nicholas (Britni) and David (Kari) Hauck, Lauren and Brooke Seminazzi, and great-grandchildren Oakley and Blakeleigh Hauck.
The family will receive visitors at Faith Lutheran Church Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 10-11AM. A service will be held at 11AM, followed by internment at Brevard Memorial Park, Cocoa, FL.
