Adam George Karavas was born on July 16, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska. When he was very young his family moved back to Xylokastro, Greece, where he grew up. When he came back to the United States, he joined the USAF, where he rose to rank of staff sergeant.
Adam is preceded in death by Ellen, his loving wife of 58 years. He is survived by his 3 children, Christina (Voll), Linda (Martin), George (Karavas); his 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Elizabeth, William, Anna and his great granddaughter Elliana. He was so proud of his grandchildren and talked about them every day. He was a very happy and generous father who will be greatly missed and will be in our hearts forever.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 20th, 2023 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5965 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL with a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S. US Highway 1, Rockledge
