OBITUARY

Annie Faye Abbott

October 2, 1928April 10, 2019

Annie Faye Abbott, 90, passed away on April, 10th, 2019. She was the widow of Ernie Abbott. They shared many happy years of marriage together before his passing on May 3rd, 2014.

Born in Jefferson City, Ohio on October 2nd, 1928, she was the daughter of Wayne R. Kinzy and Gladys M. Grimm. For most of her life, she worked as a home health aide.

In her younger days, Annie enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crocheting. She also used to prep HUGE meals and invite everyone over to enjoy the delicious food that she cooked up. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and sweet hugs. She was a wonderful soul- never cussed or judged anyone. She always sought out the best in people. Many said she was “an angel on Earth”.

She is survived by her sister, Phylis “Sissy”; three daughters: Loretta Faye, Pamela Maye, and Patsy Ann; son, Ernest Samuel; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, and two soon to be born great great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Teddy. Many nieces and nephews too. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; and her parents, Wayne and Gladys.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North US Highway 1, Cocoa, Florida 32927. The visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Not one to say goodbye, Annie would instead say, “God bless, see you later”. So this is not goodbye our sweet and loving Annie. It is just a simple “See you later”.

Sam, Patsy, Lucy and Pam
My sincere sympathy for the loss of your mom. Hugs for your hearts.
I pray the love and memories shared by each of you will help comfort
you during this loss. Your mom was a special lady and her love and honesty
and caring heart sure made my life better in the times that I knew her. For the
sadness you feel, the opposite is true for the reunion of Annie & Ernie. God Bless you
all and know I am thinking of you and loving you all.
