Beatrice Rose Tipton of Cocoa, Florida passed on to the Lord Jesus Christ on July 20, 2025 surrounded by her two daughters.
Beatrice was a devoted Christian lady. She served the Lord in her teen years to present. She had a beautiful soul and spirit, God always came first in her life. As a Mother she gave unconditional love. She was a member of The Pentecostal Church in Miami & Bell, Florida to present The Pentecostals of Cocoa. Beatrice taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and played the piano in Church. She sang on the radio in a trio, Christian songs in Miami in the mid 1950’s. She also sang in a quartet on the radio, The Wayne Rooks Radio Program called “The Friendly Parson” in 1954.
Beatrice was born in Miami, Florida. She was the daughter of Capt. Ridley Curtis Pinder and Bertha Brown Pinder. Captain Ridley Curtis Pinder was an early pioneer from the Bahamas to the Florida Keys to Miami where they settled. Beatrice had 6 siblings.
Beatrice is survived by her daughters Debbie Hopponen, Darlene Angelini, husband Joseph and Grand daughters Courtney Angelini husband Joe Hoffman. Chloe Angelini. Her brother Sam Pinder wife Robby, step daughter Sharon Hundley husband Richard, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Beatrice's life will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home on Merritt Island, FL on July 31st at 6:00pm. Friends and family are invited to come together in love and remembrance.
Instead of flowers send donations to Tupelo Children’s Mansion, Inc. Tupelo, Mississippi.
Beatrice will be laid to rest at Miami Memorial Park with her two sons: Phillip Eugene Davis, Jr. and Phillip Daryl Davis.
