I worked with Bonnie at Parrish Medical Center in the early 90's. She was a hard worker and compassionate nurse. Many fond memories together. Hurting with the loved ones she left behind. Blessings and strength for all of you. God is a good healer of our hearts.

ICU was a hectic, frantic place...a lot of action, sadness, pain, worry, fear...families terrified, nurses constantly pressured, doctors to be informed, patients to be protected and cared for...machines, machines..fear, worry, tension, more fear....and above all, frequently watching people die And suffering. Never forget the suffering....difficult 12 hour days. I never saw Bonnie Cerritos angry . She was steady and kind. The kind of person you want by your side.

I found Bonnie to be an excellent Nurse, always kind and helpful. Whenever I was pulled to ICU and very much out of my element, I could go to Bonnie and ask her anything. Always willing to help. When she was pulled to our floor, it was a pleasure to work with her. She was always willing to do whatever was needed. Gone too soon!!!

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Bonnie. We graduated nursing school together back in 1988 and we both worked at Parrish Medical Center together. She was a wonderful person and a great nurse. She always showed compassion and great care to all of her patients. She also brought humor to the workday and to her patients. I enjoyed viewing all the pictures and may each of you continue to enjoy her memory as she lives on in your hearts and minds<3 My deepest sympathies. Thea Thorne RN

To the entire Cerrato family, my deepest and sincere sympathy for Bonnie's passing. She was a very special and caring person/friend with a heart of gold. I knew her as a friend and on a few occasions as a nurse . She was compassionate and caring to me and my family members while they were in the hospital her warm caring heart was always front and center when she cared for her patients .She always made you feel safe and well care for.
Knowing her as a friend was a joy to me. She loved her husband and family more than life itself. She did everything she could to make them all feel loved and special. They were everything to her. Bonnie's passing leaves a void in the lives of all that knew and loved her she will be missed. God Bless.
