passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her children.
Carolyn was born in Rome, NY and moved to Titusville, FL in September 1971. She was a secretary for the Department of Children and Family and later became a legal secretary. She is a member of 1st Baptist Church of Port St John.
She is preceded in death by her husband George S. Wood Sr. and her eldest son George S. Wood Jr. also her 2nd husband James Earhart and many more family members. She leaves behind three daughters: Carol Wood (Rice), Kathy Wood (Bender), Linda Wood and son Ron Wood as well as 10 grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren, and 1 Great Great grandson.
Services will be held Monday October 26, 2026. Visitation for Family begins at 10 AM, open visitation for friends will begin at 10:30 AM, services start at 11:30 AM and concludes with a graveside service for family at 12:45 PM.
Visitation and services will be held at the Life Event Center at
Cocoa Memorial Park 5475 N. US Hwy 1, Cocoa, FL 32927. Followed by a light luncheon at 1st Baptist Church of Port St John at 3900 Fay Blvd, Cocoa, FL 32927.
