

Cecil Levant Stevens 71, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014 at Hospice of St. Francis in Titusville, FL. Mr. Stevens was born in Inverness, FL and moved to Brevard County from Citrus County. Cecil served in the Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He worked as an underground contractor with Ramage Contracting where he was the vice president.
A most beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Cecil was a bright and brilliant star; always searching for answers and solutions, fearless in his approach to problem solving. Always willing to help family or friend fix a leak, hang a door, start a car or a business. Hard working since his earliest years he delivered newspapers from his bicycle, was a soda jerk, grocer, surveyor, soldier, salesman, road paver, entrepreneur, underground utilities contractor and finally a happy, retired golfer.
Survivors include his Wife; Susan Adamson Stevens, Daughters; Tracy(Walter) Moniz of San Diego, CA, Kathrine Stevens of Los Gatos, CA. Sisters; Virgina(AJ) Yost and Susan Thompson of Port St. John. Brothers; Richard Stevens of Melbourne, Gary Stevens of Merritt Island, Mark Stevens of Rockledge. Aunt; Margaret Ragan of Brooksville, Fl. Grandson; Zachary Conley of Jacksonville. Grandaughter; Gabriele Conley of San Diego, CA. Numerous cousins and extended family.
Cecil was preceded in death by brothers Bobby Stevens and Jerry Stevens. Parents Eula Lee Brittle Stevens and Marion Cecil Stevens.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 15th at 11:00am at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral services at Brevard Memorial Park.
