Christopher Scott Wood, age 46, of Merritt Island, FL passed away August 13, 2019 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. He was born on May 17, 1973 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. Son of Anita M. McClure and the late Larry A. Wood.
Scott attended Merritt Island High School. He was an extremely hard worker employed by Don Long Concrete as a concrete finisher. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, IMSA (International Motor Sports Association), fishing and boating.
Scott was loving, loyal and caring to all of his family and friends. He was a dedicated protector to his Mom & Christy.
Survivors include his Mother Anita (Jerry) McClure; 2 Step-brothers Jerry D. McClure, Jr., Gary Scott McClure; his True Love Christy Hawkinson and her daughters Shyanna & Brianna; Uncle Robert L. May; Aunt Phyllis Mayes; Cousin Cynthia Mayes; and his puppy Ares.
A Memorial Service will be on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2:00 at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, Cocoa.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Brevard Humane Society.
