Daga (Wahlgren) Spansk, 92, of Cape Canaveral, Florida went home peacefully to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 4:30 pm at Health Center of Merritt Island.
Daga was born in Soderhamn, Sweden on November 5, 1918. She resided in Toronto, Canada for 7 years; Warwick, Rhode Island for 40 years; and in Cape Canaveral for the last 11 years. She was the widow of Rune Spansk.
Daga leaves behind daughter, Sylvie Lavoie; son-in-law, Roger Lavoie; 3 grandchildren, Erik Lavoie of Florida, Sonja Carleton of New Hampshire, and Janda Lavoie of Conecticut.
Visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2011 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at River of Life Assembly of God. The Address is 1890 Courtenay Blvd, Merritt Island.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Health Center of Merritt Island, 500 Crockett Blvd, Merritt Island, FL 32953.
