Im sitting here on Christmas Eve and thinking about how wonderful it would be to get my yearly call from "Santie Claus." Thank you Uncle Dan for all of the wonderful memories and love you have given me all of my life. From taking me to Circus World, the Kennedy Space Center, and even wearing a special piece of purple clothing at my wedding as you had always promised. I will truly miss you Uncle Dan...Love you always...

Aunt Mary and Lydia
I will miss Uncle Dan so much. I will miss his laugh and his jokes and how he would call me not matter the time of year and tell me it was "Santa Claus". The best way to keep Uncle Dan's spirit alive in our hearts is to continue to tell his stories and laugh in his memory. I will continue to tell everyone how I was named after him (well according to Uncle Dan) and how my name is really pronounced Dan-a. I love you both and are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary & Lydia,
We were happy that Dan was able to make it for Joey's graduation. Now it means everything, having the chance to spend a few days with him. He loved to make people laugh/smile. A fantastic brother/brother-in-law, we will miss him very much. All of our love
