David Lee Hall, 65, of Port St. John, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at AdventHealth Hospital in Orlando, Florida, just weeks before he and his beloved wife would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
Born on March 3, 1961, David lived a life devoted to his family and those he loved. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Codd Hall; his children, Christina Hall, Cynthia Boroczky and her husband, Tamas, and Brett Hall and his wife, Liz; and his brother, Mark Hall, and his wife, Nona. He was the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Known for his integrity and impeccable work ethic, David was a master mechanic who worked as a Lead Propellant and Pneumatics Mechanic at Kennedy Space Center for more than 34 years, where he was highly respected and loved by his coworkers. He took great pride in caring for his family and home and was truly a jack of all trades, always willing to lend his knowledge and skills to help others.
In 2010, David was granted a remarkable new lease on life when he received a kidney and pancreas transplant. His family remains forever grateful for the selfless gift of organ donation that allowed him to enjoy many more years with those he loved. The generosity of his donor and donor family provided precious time, memories, and moments that his family will always cherish.
Throughout his extended illness, David was lovingly cared for by his devoted wife, Patricia, whose unwavering dedication, compassion, and steadfast support reflected the deep love they shared throughout their nearly 40 years of marriage.
David’s family and friends will remember him for his dedication to his loved ones, his intelligence, strength, witty sense of humor, kindness, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Everett Hall; his mother, Polly Ann Hall; and several siblings who welcomed him into eternal rest.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends and loved ones honor David’s memory through acts of kindness, by cherishing time spent with family, and by registering to become an organ donor. Through the gift of organ donation, others may be given the same opportunity for life that meant so much to David and his family.
David Lee Hall will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
