Benjie left behind his son, 7 year old Wesley Daniel Houston, his parents ~ Jerry and Frances Houston, his sister ~ Penny Baxter and his niece and nephew ~ Audrey and Lucas Baxter of Merritt Island. He has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a grandmother living out of state. He had many close and treasured friends as well.
Benjie's loving heart and vibrant personality endeared him to his many friends and family members, all of whom he clearly loved.
Benjie was born here in Cape Canaveral on October 23, 1984. He was a true Floridian ~ he had a love for the beach and deep sea fishing with his dad.
His favorite person in the whole world was his 7 year old son, Wesley ~ he was the light of his life. Their bond of love will never be broken or forgotten by anyone who witnessed it!
A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church Merritt Island on Monday, November 20th from 12:00 - 1:00pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Benjie will be laid to rest at Brevard Memorial Park in Cocoa after the funeral service.
