Jean was born in Granite City, Illinois, on October 7, 1939. She graduated from the Jewish Hospital Nursing Program in St. Louis, Missouri, and spent many years working as a Registered Nurse. While she enjoyed her profession, her true passion was her family. She raised her family primarily in Kentucky before moving to Florida in retirement.During retirement, Jean was very active in her church and enjoyed traveling and cruising, spoiling her grandchildren, and crafting and shopping with her sister, Dixie.
Jean was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer Louis "O.B." O'Banion and James M. Ames.
She is survived by her children, Leslie Iodice (David), Chris Delis (Pete), Trena Rogge (Phil), Cindy Bangert (John), Mark O'Banion (Lorra), and Lisa Bartek (Tom); as well as her beloved 17 grandchildren.
