Doris Marie Halverson

She was graduate of Brevard Community College. She was a lifelong resident of Merritt Island and worked for 26 years at Wuesthoff Memorial hospital before retiring.

Doris was an avid lover of music, racing and football but most of all her family. She was the most kind and gentle soul and she will be greatly missed. Doris is survived by her siblings, Patsy and Art Palmer, Karen and Bill Daniels, Barbara and Bill Kernan, Diane and Blanton Howard. She is also survived her Aunt Marion Palmer and Uncle Glenn Shockey many nieces, nephews, great and Great-Great nieces and nephews, cousins, her dearest friend Kathy Langdon-Welch and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace Marie Howard and Frank Leonard Halverson.

Funeral services will take place at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, May 24 at 11a.m. Flowers can be sent to Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North Us Highway 1, Cocoa, FL.
