Dorthey "Peggy" Allison, 74, of Rockledge, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 30, 2010. She was born in Nashville, TN, October 1, 1935. Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband, Franklin D. Allison; her mother, Ovie Dee Collins; her father, Webb Collins, Sr.; and her two sisters, Linda Thompson and Barbara Maddux. She leaves one daughter, Vonda L. Campbell and fiance Greg Beuer; two grandsons, Zachary (Sheila) Campbell and Angus P. Campbell; her brother, Webb "Sonny" Collins, Jr.; two brothers-in- law, Wayne Thompson and Gene Maddux, and many nieces and nephews. Peggy was a great mother, grandmother and friend; always known as "Granny Peggy", always put others before her, and followed Jesus closely. Peggy retired with the Tennessee School District as a Cafeteria Manager, after retirement she moved to be closer to her family in Florida. Peggy was a very strong woman and Devout Christian with the Church Of God Of Prophecy in Cocoa. She leaves behind many family and friends and will be greatly missed. Services are being held at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Viewing, Thursday from 5-8 pm, and Friday from 2-4 pm with burial at 3 pm.
