

Born in North Adams, MA on December 14, 1920, she was the daughter of Michael and Fiorina (Pellegrino) Lopardo. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter Garofalo, son, Robert Garofalo Sr., brother, Mario Lopardo, and five sisters, Inez Lopardo, Gloria (Lopardo) Charron, Yolanda (Lopardo) Allen, Loretta (Lopardo) MacDonald, and Venice (Lopardo) Smith.
She graduated from Drury High School in 1939 and promptly enrolled at the Cosmetic Institute in New York City. Cricket became a very successful makeup artist, and throughout her illustrious career, she had the privilege of working with numerous actors and actresses.
Upon relocating to Florida in 1975, the family established and managed "The Three G's Educational Supplies" store in Merritt Island. The Garofalo family has consistently demonstrated their active involvement with their loving and supportive Church Family throughout their years in Florida.
Cricket was a beautiful, driven, sharp-minded, and accomplished woman who will leave a long-lasting positive impression on all who knew her. She enjoyed a wide range of hobbies, loved to travel, and was a big fan of shopping!
She is survived by her grandson, Rob Garofalo Jr. (Shawna) of Minneola, FL, two great-grandchildren, Owen and Madison Garofalo, grandson, Anthony Garofalo (Paola) of Boynton Beach, FL, and several caring nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 2:00pm at Celebration Church, 1801 S Orlando Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.
