Florentino "Tino" Ramos

Tino was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on September 2, 1920 to his parents Pedro Ramos and Delores Ramirez Ramos.

He was a US. Army Veteran of WWII.

Tino was a Seaman in the Merchant Marines assisting during the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict.

He was a member of the American Legion Post # 359.

Tino loved to tinker in his garage, had a green thumb, and was born with a water hose in his hand.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Geraldine Ramos; daughter Delores Wheatbread of Menifee, California; son Daniel Ramos (Phyllis) of Covington, Louisiana; daughter Martha Garcia of Eagle Pass, Texas; son Ronald McCaslin (Carmen) of Spring, Texas; son Donald McCaslin (Maggie) of Spring, Texas; daughter Dianne Martin (Darrell) of Denton, Texas; daughter Tina Ramos and her partner Wanda Stapleton of Titusville, Florida; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and sister Esperanza Castellanos, of Santa Clara, California.

Calling hours are 6-8PM Monday November 25, 2013 at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, Cocoa. A funeral mass will be held 11AM Tuesday November 26, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Cocoa.

Entombment will take place at Brevard Memorial Park.

A reception will follow at the American Legion Post # 359 in Port St. John.
