Frances L. Albritton

Our beloved mother and grandmother Frances was born December 30, 1941 in Macon GA. She was pre-deceased by her dedicated husband Manuel Albritton of 54 years in 2018. Her son Bennie Ray Sherrod passed away in 1980. She also lost two grandchildren Buddy Cochran in 2024 and Lucillia Roland in 2023. She is survived by her three children Darlene Harvey, Gerald Albritton, Joanna Wallace and grandchildren Brandon, Bennie, Amanda, Rita, and Davin.

She spent her life raising her beautiful children and serving the Lord. She was known for always being happy and smiling. She found joy in spending time with friends, family and good food. She served as church secretary for Church of God of Prophecy to Pastor Michael Renfroe for many years. Prior to retiring in 2003 she and her husband were avid cruisers, campers and hikers. They began camping in a van and gradually moved their way up to a full size RV. They went on more 15 cruises. When she and her husband retired, they took to the open road in search of adventure touring the United States in a RV for nearly two decades.

Our cherished mother and grandmother will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home on 5/17 at 3:00 PM with a reception following the ceremony.
