Grace Entres, 96, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family and the support of VITAS Hospice Care on April 16, 2018. A native of Erie, Pennsylvania, she graduated from high school in Union City and also went to college in Philadelphia where she earned an Associate Degree. She married Jack in1942 and the family moved to Florida in 1959.
Grace was a spiritual lady who took pleasure in being with family and friends, loved travelling and socializing, enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, tatting, and working puzzles. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, had a wonderful smile that could light up a room, and had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. While living in Melbourne, she worked as an Executive Secretary for Outlaw Engineering until she retired in 1983; was an active member of Sherwood Park Baptist Church; volunteered at Sherwood Elementary School in the 1960’s; and she and her husband volunteered as poll workers during the elections.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Entres, after 57 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Blanche, Doris, Nancy and Bonnie. She is survived by three children: Milton Entres and his wife Karon; Jacque Entres Foreman and her husband Leroy; Russell Entres and his wife Sharon. She is also survived by two grandsons, Jeff and Chris Clevenger, and many beloved great grand children, nieces and nephews.
