Jane graduated from Mount Saint Dominic Academy in 1950 and received her certificate as a Laboratory Technician from the Paine Hall School in New York City in 1951. After marrying the love of her life, F. Vincent Constantine, on August 1, 1953, Jane and her husband moved to Davenport, Iowa where she worked managing three hospital laboratories, simultaneously, while he was at school earning his doctor of chiropractor degree. The couple then moved to Deland and later, Merritt Island, Florida where they raised their two daughters, Janie and Karen, while establishing and maintaining a successful medical practice (Jane earned her Chiropractic Assistant Diploma on July 4, 1971). Upon their retirement, Jane and Vincent traveled extensively to Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia and the South Pacific. Jane was known for her adventurous spirit, her sense of humor, her love of arts and crafts and her passion for dancing. Jane is survived by her husband and two daughters, Janie and Karen (Mitch), who will strive to continue the legacy of love , care and strength she gave to her family.
Our loving wife and mother, Jane, passed away at home peacefully without pain or suffering on May 25, 2015 after fighting a courageous battle with COPD. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. Jane was a wonderful mother, devoted wife, and continues to be the source of strength for our family. We will always carry her in our hearts and remember how she helped us to grow - with love, truth, and honesty. Along the way, she also helped us to choose the right path with strong values, morals, and self-worth as she supported our dreams with her hope and confidence. Our leader of the family is still keeping an eye on all of us, so as a tribute to her, let's continue to make her proud of who we have and will become and make sure she likes what she sees. Mom, if Grandma and Grandpa were still here, they would say they are amazed, proud and in awe of the woman you became over the years and proud of the family you developed. God rest your soul, Mom. We will carry you in our hearts for eternity.
A Celebration of Jane's Life will be held Saturday, June 6th, at 2:00pm - at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Park. 5475 N. U.S. Highway #1, Cocoa, Florida 32927.
