Ed and I are sending our deepest condolences to Rosalie and all the family.  Though we did not know Jay, we know how painful the loss of a beloved family member can be.  May God bless you all and bring you peace.

All the Asche family will miss dear Jay . He was ONE OF A KIND and will not be forgotten. I remember so many of our outings and get-togethers and all the adventures with the condo in Ft Myers Beach. I will always remember hearing Jay call me Chuck-A-Roonie and beginning those sentences with ..." Let me tell you something..."
He was a man who could ALWAYS be relied upon and he knew his profession better than anyone.
And I DID enjoy seeing him snitch the chocolates at Rosalie and Rozella's 50th birthday party two years ago.
I guess now he and Charlie can get things in order up there in Heaven and make sure things are done correctly.

I met Jay and Rosalie at Trinity Presbyterian Church when they visited and became members. He was more than just a church family member; he became just like a real brother since I am an only child. We shared many family dinners and outings together and he was always on call if we had any electrical emergency or problem- he was the best and he really knew his profession!
We really missed them alot when they moved to Cocoa, and I am glad that I will see him again one day in God's heavenly kingdom.

I love you uncle Jay. I know it's going to take some time to fully grasp that you are gone from us, but I will always think about you. You are walking the streets of gold with all of our family that has gone to see Jesus, and I know one sweet day we will meet again. I want to thank you for the advice you have given me throughout my life. You will be dearly missed but NEVER forgotten.

I have many fond memories of you Uncle Jay. God blessed you with the talent of being a handy man and you weren't selfish with it either. You blessed so many from family and friends to mission trips to Haiti. God has called us to bless others with what he has blessed us with and you did. Doing so you left one heck of a legacy. You would give the very shirt off your back for another in need. The prayers you gave before a meal were always so heartfelt and pure. You will never know how many lives you touched. You never met a stranger and you made people feel welcome. Before Jesus called you home there was another beautiful moment when all of us surrounded your bed and sang hymns. How it touch all of our hearts the way you sang Jesus Loves me with us. Thank you Jesus for precious memories, thank you Jesus for blessing me with Uncle Jay.  I love you and I miss you Uncle Jay and we will see each other again in Heaven.

I have been blessed to know Jay for about ten years.  Our most memorable time was the two weeks we spent together on our mission trip to Haiti in 2011.  We have talked about that trip and our adventures there many times.  I will miss his humor and stories.  I look forward to seeing him again one day in the future when I join him with our Lord.  We love you brother.

We both find it so very hard to realize that you are no longer here with us. You are not here to call and talk to, to ask questions about old times, names of songs, names of places in Miami, share stories of what happened on certain electrical jobs, play a game of cards, share a family dinner, or have dessert with ice cream.  You are a pivotal part of our family and what a legacy and impact you have left with each and every one of us. You are unique and one of a kind and we will miss you so very much, but you will always be in our hearts, in our memories and in our very souls forever. We will all be together again one day in Jesus' presence, until we meet again, not goodbye but see you later.
