I hold this red rose I have for you as I light this candle for you to guide you up to heaven. Even though you left us too early, I know you for saw this     day in your dreams. I wasn't able to see you just yet  but  you knew I understood and hopefully you knew I had your back as always. I shall cherish and remember you every day. The memories I have will not be forgotten my dear brother. Even though I have countless memories, one of my favorites is when you and Debi took me to the country bar. What a blast. You were happy to see me have a great time. You always invited me over to watch movies no matter what time it was, and of course I would jump as fast as I could into my car and race on over. We would all eat your nachos. Popcorn and chocolate. There's so much more to say but you know. You shall never be forgotten my dear brother, there is a spot in my heart that I tucked everything into. You have been tattooed with love upon my heart. As I hold up my Patron to you, and a tear I won't shed but only a smile as you would wish I also dedicate the song 'See you again', by Push. I will and I shall  miss you my brother everyday. I love you, so here's to you as you watch over Debi, Trevor,  Faith, and your family and friends. May you guide them and be with them always.

Jeff, you will truly be missed. I thought not working with you and Debi in the OR at St.Francis would be my hardest goodbye to you, but I was so wrong. It's hard to tell you farewell my friend but I know that you will watch over your family and friends from the highest cloud in the sky. 
Jeff had a "special" hand gesture he would always give me when we saw each other or when saying bye, so Jeff, I'll look for that in the clouds.

The last time I saw you was at your grandma's funeral. Even though we were dealing with that painful moment you had that smile that could brighten up a room. I'm sorry we didn't have more time together growing up but I will remember that big smile and big heart forever. God speed.

My friend you will be missed greatly, your friendly smile, and  positive attitude was contagious. The pride you had for your family was clearly visible and melted hearts. I know when you walked through those gates your wings was waiting on you. May Debi, Trevor and Faith know that had you been given the choice you would have stayed with them, and that you will always be their guardian angel. Rest easy my friend....until we meet again.

Jeff, I have struggled to find the words. Then I realized I don't need to, we have always told each other how we feel and what we mean to each other. More than a cousin, more than a brother, you've just been more to me, an iguanaman.I love you eternally and you'll forever be in my heart. Rest peacefully and worry free I will always honor my promises to you. Love you

Jeff, every word fails as the shock over your loss makes every thought feel surreal.  I can't believe you're gone.

No one will ever forget you, your sense of humor, and your love for your family.  Your absence will always be felt.  The time was just too short.

I don't think I ever told you, but I've always looked forward to spending time with you, Deb, Jenni and Jessi at Camp Dearborn.  I'm sorry my time there with you will only be to say goodbye.

Jeff, Though we were miles apart- you were my unforgettable friend - always there in my heart. The times we shared have left a lasting imprint in my life. Even when we moved in different directions keeping us from talking or seeing each other as much as I would have liked, you were always in my thoughts and prayers. I was in shock when I heard you of your passing. My heart cried to hear the hurt from your sweet, loving sister,  Jennifer. I know your whole family is hurting right now, and I am praying for them. I pray for the good Lord to wrap his loving arms around them and give them comfort during this very difficult time!

Jeff, the "professional witness" as I liked to describe him as a child.  He was always there, but never through the rock, lit the fire, or through the first punch.  All my memories of you are fond; always a smile on your face.  I am so grateful that over these last several years that we reconnected and most grateful to call you cousin, friend, and brother in arms. I will always remember the camp fires, the songs, and you--with your smile and Martin guitar.  Rest In Peace.

Jeff, were do we all begin to say goodbye to one of the rocks to the cousins and siblings, gone too soon!!! As they say sometimes the good die young, your soul is free to live for eternity, never would I have thought that when Bill ,you and I made the pact that it would be this early in our lives, I know you're at peace now how can you not be when you're on the other side with our loved ones that has passed on and we're there to welcome you home, hopefully playing a game of Canasta soon with Grandma/Aunt Margaret, Grandma Aunt Barb and Aunt Carol, taking a boat ride with Grandpa/Uncle Roy on the lake at Camp , maybe playing a game of pool with Uncle Duane and getting mini snickers from the top drawer of grandma and grandpa Barnhouse's dresser, the other side is a duplicate of the world that we are all left to live in with out you, just 100 times more beautiful than we here can ever imagine, to you we will All be reunited in a blink of an eye and to All of us we will feel like it's an eternity to get to you and our family that is with you, I'm not saying goodbye because goodbye seems forever but I will say till we see each other again I will miss you like crazy, our kids are the next generation for our favorite place on earth that represents family and love , Trevor and Faith will carry on the legacy of you , so even though you're not here in the flesh you will always be at our side watching over us, visit me in a dream sometime and take us to camp to the spot , we will bring Bill along, I will be looking forward to our visit , I love you Cuz!! My world shifted when I heard you were gone, Jeff.  Life will never be quite the same, because there will always be a void meant for my brother.  You are the one who could make anyone laugh, and you are the one I looked up to as a child and young girl.  Even when we didn't seem to get along, you'd be the first to defend me if I needed it, and I looked up to you in ways you never knew.  How can I suddenly not have a big brother?  How do I move on from this?  

Yet I do have a brother.  You are just in a different place.  I'm grateful in an indescribable way to know you gave your life to the Lord when you were eight years old.  And when the Lord adopts someone into His family in a moment of belief, He doesn't let them go.  We can't earn our salvation and aren't the ones who maintain it.  It's by God's grace, through faith, that we are saved, and I'm so happy to know you are in His presence.  Here I am, looking forward to Heaven one day, and you already get to be there.  In true ittle sister fashion, I think about that and whine, "It's not fair!  He always gets to do everything first!"  Well, the thought makes me smile, anyhow.  If each of us could cross over to where you are for even one second, we'd know we are only crying for ourselves. 

I love you, Jeff. And you not being here is very hard.  It hurts.  It's truly awful.  And I do cry for myself. A lot. But you still make me laugh.  Memories are powerful that way. Until I see you again, I hope you know how very much I've always loved you.

You were an amazing person, with such an incredible personality. It was such a privilege to be able to meet you and be a a part of your family. Thank you for being a part of my life. Rest in peace, Jeff.

Jeff, You greeted everyone with the big boyish smile and your laugh made everyone around you happier. The love you had for your family was evident every time you talked about them from Michigan, South Carolina, and Florida, how you would light up. Not to mention Michigan football! You will forever be with us in your children, especially Trevor, who is handsome, intelligent, but just the right amount of goofy like you! My prayers and support will be with the entire family. We will miss you, but we will honor your life by living with passion never giving up, doing our best with a smile on our face, and most importantly helping others! I know that is what you would want us to do! Love you brother!!
