Joseph F. Covaleski, 93, a retired technician for IBM passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, May 14, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, New York and came to Brevard County in 1981 from Hyde Park, NY. He served in the Army, Navy and Airforce.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothea; his daughter, Patricia; three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Covaleski; and his new family, Terri Kyle, he called her the kid and she called him dad; Doug Mars called him pop; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and the dog, Candi who was a constant companion as his health failed. He especially loved his great grand babies.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary's building fund.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM with a Funeral Mass following at 10:30. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery.
