Grandma made every holiday feel special and fun. I remember her, my mom and Aunts getting dry ice one year and she dressed like a witch when we were kids.

Growing up, you never truly realize how fortunate you are until later in life, when you have the chance to reflect on your past and fully appreciate your life up until that point. If I ever had a bad day, you would always manage to turn it around. Your smile and positivity were contagious, and they have left an indelible mark on our entire family, cherished for generations to come.

I can draw so many core values from my life and dedicate them all to my Grandma. These values include respect for others, compassion, empathy, putting others before yourself, and most importantly, love.

I will never forget the countless sleepovers we shared and the captivating stories you regaled us with about your childhood and the upbringing of your four incredible children. I will always remember how joyfully you would take us grandkids to Friendly’s for burgers and shakes. I will continue to make your peanut smoothies for my kids and ensure that I share them with their children someday too.

The night before your passing, I was out to dinner with Jess and the kids when Waylon looked up at me and asked, “How is Memaw doing?” We both made sure to inform him and the other kids that you were comfortable and getting your rest. While there is no easy way to convey difficult news to children or adults, I am grateful that they were able to spend as much time with you as they did.

I brought up Waylon’s question not to dwell on the timing of it, but to demonstrate the strength of your values as not only a human being but also as a mother and grandmother. These values have transcended to your grandchildren and will continue to carry on for years to come.

You are a saint, you are loved, and you will forever be etched in our hearts and minds.

Many fond memories of Ariel, Tink and Dopey getting together for “giggles”.  Loved the time we spent together.  The  entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so saddened by the passing of my sweet sister in law Joyce.
I have nothing but the sweetest memories of her from our first
Meeting until our last conversation. She was so welcoming and so kind to me . She loved her family and was loved by all of them so
much.I will miss her voice, her sweet laugh, and our chats and
visits and all her kindnesses to me and all my family over the years.

Such a great time we had. I will miss her terribly. Best Aunt anyone could ask for. Her smile and giggle were contagious. Always had the best times. My prayers to all her family.
