

In loving memory of Judith (Judy) Lagemann Kitchen, May 31, 1938 - April 8, 2026. Judy, a devoted wife and daughter, a beloved mother, cherished grandmother and great grandmother and loyal friend, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Judy was born to parents Harold and Ruth Lee of St. Louis, Missouri on May 31, 1938. She was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and spent many hours tossing a ball with her sisters Linda and Peggy and going to their games with her father. Her parents and sister Peggy preceded her in death.
Judy met her future husband Vincent Lagemann while attending the University of Missouri to be an elementary school teacher. She was a devoted and loving wife for 31 happy years of marriage. Vincent preceded her in death on January 17, 1990. Their children include Jeffrey Lagemann (Karen), Andy Lagemann (Connie) (Andrew and his wife preceded her in death), Cynthia Castilow (Keith), Laura Crabb (Jerry), Joseph Lagemann and Douglas Lagemann (Ginger). Judy has many grandchildren and great grandchildren
While Judy did spend some time teaching in the classroom, she had a passion for teaching people to read. She taught all of her kids and volunteered at the school to teach others. She also was a thoughtful caretaker for anyone who needed her including her parents and many friends.
Judy attended Holy Family Traditional Catholic Church; her late husband had been a founding member. After years of taking care of her father, Judy met and married Marshall Kitchen. They enjoyed over ten years of music and travel together until Marshall's death in 2013.
Judy was loving, thoughtful and caring to all. Full of the love of Jesus, she gave the best of herself right until the end. She will be greatly missed.
A Graveside Service will be held at Cocoa Memorial Park, 320 Spring St, Cocoa, FL 32927, US, on April 15, 2026, at 10:00 am.
