Julie Cruz Leonen, 52, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2021. She joins her brother Matthew in heaven and is survived by her parents Frankie and Lourdes Cruz, her love, Richard, her siblings Velma, Elaine, Franklin, Alvin, Francine, their spouses, as well as her loving nieces and nephews.
Julie was a gifted and accomplished professional, who devoted much of her time to her church, halau, and her family. She graduated with her Master’s in Business Administration, enjoyed a successful career at Siemens Energy Inc. spanning more than two decades. Additionally she volunteered to many organizations that focused on a myriad of issues, from cultural diversity to women’s empowerment.
Our family would like to thank her friends, colleagues and those who have been there for her always.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home 5475 N. US Hwy 1, Cocoa.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5135 US Hwy 1, Cocoa. Entombment to follow at Brevard Memorial Park, Cocoa.
