

Born in Maximo Gomez, Matanzas, Cuba, on July 9, 1929, Joe immigrated to the United States in 1949.
From an early age, Joe was a gifted sculptor who developed a talent for painting and became known for creating portraits of family and friends. He built a decades-long business as an interior decorator and upholsterer with clients from Miami, New York and Connecticut. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the past 50 years, Joe served in many capacities within the church.
Joe was first married to Carmela Altavilla in 1950, and together they had their three eldest children, Jane, Walter, and Joy. After Carmela died, Joe married Norma Busot in 1959, and together they had John and Jacob. Norma predeceased Joe in 2011.
He is survived by; his 5 children: Jane Bailey of Titusville, FL; Walter Carmona and wife, Constanza Villa of Orlando, FL; Joy Parent of Titusville, FL; John Carmona and husband, Steve Ouellette of Houston, TX; Jacob Carmona of Titusville, FL; and his sister Ketty Rodolico of Miami Beach, FL. He also leaves ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday September 10th, from 6 - 8pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 N. Highway 1, Cocoa, FL 32927. Service is set for Saturday, September 11th, from 2 – 3pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3000 South Street, Titusville, FL 32780.
