He briefly pursued a modeling career, reflecting his confidence and charm, and he found joy in serving others — including newlyweds at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, where he gave his time and heart to help others start their journeys together.
Kenny believed that “The most important thing is to enjoy your life, to be happy, and to love with all your heart- that's all that matters." He truly lived by that. He was one of the most caring and selfless people you could ever meet. He loved to laugh, to make memories that would last a lifetime, and to be surrounded by family and friends. He never missed a big moment, always showed up for those he loved, and had a heart that could fill any room.
Kenny was the beloved father of Kory Fothergill (Kate), Kayla Tucker (David), Kyle Fothergill and a proud grandfather to Audrey Tucker, Adalynn Tucker, Colton Tucker, Waylon Tucker, Aiden Fothergill, Adam Fothergill, Lucas Fothergill, Lily Fothergill and Scott Fothergill as well as his precious granddaughter Aubree Tucker, who is in Heaven. He is also reunited in Heaven with his children Adam and Megan Fothergill, who passed away at birth.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Dorothy Fothergill, his brothers Danny and Greg Fothergill, and his beloved life partner Carlos Baez. He is survived by his siblings Patricia Charles, ChrisAnn Anderson, and Michael Fothergill, and by his former wife Elizabeth Chittenden.
He was one of a kind — with the biggest heart, the best laugh, the funniest personality and the brightest smile. He also took great pride in taking care of himself and loved spending time at the gym.
Kenny’s warmth, laughter, and love will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
