Born July 5, 1939 in East St. Louis, Illinois, Mr. Stammer moved to Merritt Island in 1979. He served in the United States Army Reserve.
Ken loved NASCAR, he enjoyed restoring cars and all race cars. He was of the Catholic Faith and attended Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Before retiring, he worked as a boiler-maker, Local 363.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mildred Stammer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne; daughter, Kelly Taylor of Sarasota; son, Kenneth Jr. (wife, Kristina) of Oldsmar; step-children: Lisa Holt of Merritt Island, James Stubbe of Rockledge, and Kimberly Stubbe of Merritt Island; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2PM at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home with military honors to be rendered at the graveside at Brevard Memorial Park.
