Hey Jersey,

I thank you for taking me in as family when my world was falling apart. I still remember the month and year. September 2009. You held my hands during the toughest time of my life as my son was dx. You say with me as my heart broke when I was separated from my younger son. You sat with him and colored when he came to visit at the RMH. You showed me how how to be a fierce mama. You also welcomed me into your family. Your letters and prayers I will always cherish. It’s so hard to believe you’re gone. I will miss your messages everyday on fb. I smile thinking of you and how tough you were when we use to run the streets of Orlando. You were fierce. Never looked both ways. Carried your knife and nobody ever messed with you. I know I didn’t know you as long as everybody else but I sure love you very much and miss you so much. I pray you are up in heaven smiling over all your love ones. I will never forget you. Thank you for bringing Sarah, Timothy, and Victoria into my life. If you never invited me to eat with you guys I wouldn’t have a second family. My prayers are with your loved ones. You will be gratefully missed. RIH, Jersey. Love, Mimi, Isaiah, and Jaiyden.
