She was the second child born in Cocoa, Florida to Arthur Lollie And Florence Morris on June 28,1946. Linda attended Cocoa High School and met Louie William Goodner Jr., and they started dating in 1960. Linda went on to graduate from Cocoa High School on June 10, 1965. Then married June 15, 1965 in Merritt Island, FL at Orsino Baptist Church by Rev. Louie Goodner Sr.
They moved to California when Louie went into the Marine Corp. and was stationed at Camp Pendleton. On Oct. 24, 1972 they welcomed their first child, Lisa Ann Goodner. Then four years later on Jan. 2, 1976 welcomed their second child Louie William Goodner III.
Linda had a few jobs in her career, but her main job was a Bank Teller for 30 years.
She is predeceased by her Parents Arthur and Florence Lollie as well as her sister Virginia.
Survived by: Her children - Lisa Wells and Louie William Goodner III. Grandchildren - Brittany Dutton, Billy Wilcoxson, Dakota Hagstrom. Great grandchildren - Elizabeth Wilcoxson, Bryson Dutton, Bentley Dutton, Briella Dutton, Nathan and Lilliana.
A Visitation will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N. Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953 on August 1, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location at 10:00 am.
A Committal Service will take place at Cocoa Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens, 320 Spring Street, Cocoa, FL 32927, on August 1, 2026, at 11:30 am.
