Lowell A. Perkins

Monday, September 30, 2013. He was born in East Rainelle, West Virginia. Graduated

from Mt. Hope High School in Mt. Hope, West Virginia, attended West Virginia Tech and

the University of Virginia. Careers included Fairfax County Policeman, in Fairfax,

Virginia; Beckley City Policeman in Beckley, West Virginia; Greyhound Lines; and

retired from Allstate lnsurance Company in Charleston, West Virginia as a Senior

Claims Analyst.

He loved God, Family and was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great

Grandfather and Friend, who enjoyed life and loved America. He always made

everything look so easy. He had so many God-given talents. Lowell was a Christian

and grew up in the Methodist Church. Also served as a Deacon at Memorial Baptist

Church in Beckley, West Virginia and is currently a member of First United Methodist

Church in Cocoa, Florida.

Preceded in death by his parents , Rev. J. Elbert Perkins and Lena Witt Perkins and

brother, Merrold Duane Perkins and his wife MaryAnna.

Survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda, and his son Bruce at home; daughter, Karen

Patrick and her husband Bryan of Palm Bay, FL; son, Jeff and his wife Tina of Rock Hill,

SC;grandson, Bryan Curtis Patrick and his fiance Jesse Jones of Santa Clara, CA;

granddaughter, Kayla Rachelle Hackethal and her husband Ross; and great-granddaughter

Alyssa Joy Hackethal of Jupiter, FL.; sister, Jewell Eanes and her

husband Jim of Aiken, SC.; brother-in-law, Jim Cox and his wife Connie of Bluefield, VA;

sisters-in-law Barbara McKinney of Lexington, Kentucky and Freda Trail of Glen Fork,

WV; and several nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday,

October 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. L. Kim Eanes officiating.The family will receive visitors at the funeral home one

hour prior to the service.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to Hospice of

St. Francis, 1250-8 Grumman Place, Titusville, Florida 32780 or St. Jude Children's

Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
