Margaret A. Gartner entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 13, 2017 in South Carolina. Born in Schenectady, NY Margaret moved to Florida with her husband, John, in 1965 and lived there until 2014. She loved Florida and enjoyed golfing, bowling, the beach, and exercising with her friends at their “Spa”. Margaret loved people and was always ready to have fun. She and her friends took several cruises out of Port Canaveral and enjoyed long talks.
Survivors include her son, Thomas (Laura) Gartner of Texas and daughter, Rosemary (Bud) Brown of South Carolina. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, John; son, Robert; and her sisters, Rosemary, Evelyn, Joan, and brother, Thomas.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rockledge at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, and the funeral Mass will begin at 11:30. Burial will follow at Brevard Memorial Park in Cocoa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
